Getting around Valencia is no problemo! Firstly, there is the famous 'Valenbisi.' This is Valencia's bike system. There are bike stations all over the city where you can take bikes out and put them away at any station. It's less than £30 for the year and is a must have when living in Valencia. There are cycle paths everywhere so you hardly have to go on the road. The only downside is occasionally there are either no bikes to take out or the station is full so you have to find another one, but there are so many and they're all within a couple of mins walk. The metro is also good, stops all over the place. 'Facultats' is the stop by Uni and 'Colon' and 'Xativer,' are the stops for shopping in town. You soon get to know which stop is for where, it's very straightforward, even for ditsies like myself. The tram is part of the metro and goes straight to the beach. For lazy days or when 'winter' comes upon us you can take the bus to town- this goes from outside our flat and stops in various places along Blasco and takes you right to the centre. (Number 81 bus)
